Today will be a busy day here. I have summer squash calling my name from the kitchen counter and piles of laundry needing my attention. The boys are in their room, supposedly cleaning it. Yeah right! I need to go supervise here in a minute,otherwise it will never get done.
It is chilly out here,there is snow on the tops of the mountains. The weather turns so quickly,one day it was up in the 80's and right now it's in the lower 50's. I do like the mountains and the fresh, clean smelling air, but I do not enjoy bitter cold. The chill in the air is a reminder that the cold is not far behind. I had planned to be better prepared by now for another winter here in Bozeman. I am far from ready. There isn't nearly enough canned food down in the basement, nor did I finish crocheting the blankets for the boys' beds. I suppose I will have plenty of time to work on blankets before Spring!
The boys aren't staying on task, so I best go and round them back up and get started on all that squash.
